Employment Information

Summer 2017 begins on June 2 with a week of staff training, followed by 9 weeks of youth, rental, and family camps. Summer employment will end for some staff on August 4 and others on August 13, depending on your availability. All summer staff are needed for the entire Arrowhead summer camping season, although some may begin earlier, remain later, or serve in additional capacities as needed. The base pay for summer staff is $210/week in addition to room and board. Those who participate in our voluntary Arrowhead Support Team (AST) will have a base pay of $250/week in addition to room and board.

How Do I Apply?

It’s easy! If you’ve never worked on summer staff before, then send us a New Summer Staff Application. Also, you’ll need three references (pastoral, employer, and character), so make sure to contact your references and provide them with a link to this page. After we receive your application and references, our Program Director will begin processing your info and may contact you to set up an interview. If you have worked at camp before, all you need to do is fill out the Returning Summer Staff Application and our Program Director will get in touch with you. Please note that even though you may begin applying now, most staffing decisions will not be made until at least February.
