Is your schedule ridiculously full, but you desperately need some time away? Could your outlook on life be a whole lot better if you made time to refresh your mind? If you need a getaway with the girls, this is the perfect fall weekend retreat! Call some friends and fill a cabin, or come alone and meet new friends!
Relax with home-cooked meals and the beauty of God’s creation. Be refreshed and renewed as you worship together with other women and discover how to experience the life God planned for you!
Our speaker for 2023 will be Michelle Rayburn. And here is a little bit about her!
Michelle Rayburn delights in books, repurposed junk, dark chocolate, and iced coffee—the staples of life. She wants to help others discover the joy of finding God in the trashy stuff of life. As an author and podcaster, she highlights how life’s difficulties can turn out to be opportunities to grow. In 33 years married to Phil, her classic-truck-loving husband, they’ve learned how to stay in love as the odometer climbs on their classic marriage too. That includes regular relationship tune-ups, mutual patience, and abundant puns and dad jokes. The Rayburn family tree has branched to include two sons and their wives and three grandchildren.

There will be various activities, indoor and out that you can join in! Pontoon rides, wagon rides, coloring, coffee, hiking, an escape room, kayaking, and plenty more! We also have a yearly craft you can do for $5 or less! Feel free to bring crafts, games. or other activities to do if you would like.
Housing is dormitory and cabin style. Only bottom bunks will be assigned to campers. You have an opportunity to make roommate requests on your registration form, and we do our best to honor those. However, we do reserve the right to make changes as necessary. Also, we usually try to keep groups together that are coming from the same places, and spread people out so you are usually only with people you know.
Most people will have twin sized bottom bunks, so bring sheets for those and all other bedding you would like, plus a towel as we don’t provide those!
We also have handicap accessible lodging for any campers who have a legitimate physical limitation. Please specify any such limitations on your registration, otherwise we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your needs once you arrive at camp. If you have any unexpected needs, and you’ve already registered, please call ahead as all housing assignments are final and we are unable to rearrange housing once you arrive.
