We are so grateful here at Arrowhead to be blessed with the hardest working volunteers that you’ll find anywhere! Volunteers do anything from dishes and cleaning to mowing lawns and painting, and camp could not function without them. During the summer we utilize many volunteers in all aspects of our program so that we may offer skilled people with limited time an opportunity to be involved in the camping ministry. Adult men and women are needed in these areas: kitchen, maintenance workers, and health care staff.
Kitchen Staff – Two to Four kitchen helpers are needed weekly to assist our cooks.
Maintenance Staff – Maintenance staff is needed weekly to work with the Director of Maintenance on many different projects here at camp. We are always grateful for the carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and those who just want to help around the camp for a short time during the summer.
Health Care Staff (Nurse) – Weekly we need one state licensed (RN, PA, LPN, EMT) health care worker who is responsible for emergency first aid and health maintenance of campers and staff. An orientation is provided to familiarize the staff member to the typical camper needs, the First Aid Station, and the physician’s standing orders which are on file.
